It has taken me a long time to get a hold of one of these, mostly because I have been trying to save money and wanted to buy them all! But here we go, I finally have Tanya Burr's Nail Polish in Shade Penguin Chic.
Not only is the colour amazing, a beautiful grey that doesn't look bland at all, but the formula is too. It applies nice and thick, but not gloopy, and isn't streaky. It becomes opaque with two coats. The brush isn't big, but it coats the nail in two strokes and I've loved wearing this recently! I don't own a grey polish which is why I went for this one. The wear on this is also brilliant. While typing this, I've been wearing it for seven days and it has only just started to wear on the tips of the nails, nothing too noticeable.
You can tell Tanya has put a lot of effort into creating a formula that is universally loved, and the shade range is great too. I don't often love every colour of a collection, but I can say that I would wear all of them, or at least that I like the look of them. I regret only buying one shade, but my sister has just ordered Little Duck and Mischief Managed, so I may need to sneak in a shot to try them out...
I am so proud of Tanya for creating this line - you can tell a lot of love has went into making it. I think the shades of the polishes and the lip glosses were all lovely choices. I may even need to try one of the glosses, despite never liking a gloss I've used before! I have my eye on Vampire Kiss. What do you think of Tanya's line?
