Review // Soap & Glory Fabulipstick in Pom Pom

I haven't tried much Soap & Glory makeup, but I was completely drawn in by the colour of this lipstick. I'm not typically a matte gal, but a berry that isn't too deep and can be worn daytime or nighttime? I had to have it.

I won't lie, I hadn't read any reviews on the Super Colour Fabulipstick Powdercoat Matte Lipsticks before buying but I trusted my gut instinct, and it was right. The lipstick glides on smoothly and sets to an opaque matte finish, yet it somehow still looks nourishing and feels creamy. The colour lasts a long time too, a good 4-5 hours, although a little lip rubbing action is sometimes needed to stop the dreaded stain-around-the-lips. The smell is also incredible! It smells of straight up vanilla which has to be my favourite scent.

I must also mention the packaging of this lipstick, as I love it! The tube is quite weighty which, paired with the matte black exterior and the Soap & Glory logo embossed on the lipstick bullet itself, makes it appear a lot more expensive than it really is, at £9.

To me the Super Colour Fabulipstick Powdercoat Matte Lipstick in Pom Pom (could there be a longer name?) would be a great one for those who want to venture away from the typical pink lipstick, but don't want to go too vampy. I think the colour is Summer appropriate, but it will look amazing during Autumn/Winter especially!
