emiloue's One Year Anniversary!

Happy New Year everyone! The title says it all, I've now been writing this little blog for a year! I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who supported me, as I genuinely don't think I would have kept this up for so long if it wasn't for all of you!

I started the blog as a creative outlet, something that I could channel my energy into when bored. However, it (surprisingly) quickly became a hobby that took over, and a way for me to interact with other bloggers and readers, and with companies too - who actually contacted me first. Weird, right?! Well, not as weird as receiving beautiful emails from girls who have felt inspired by my posts or who want help and trust that I can advise. It honestly means the world to me that even just a handful of people feel that way about me, and I really want to strive to use my platform for the better.

Although my posts have lacked a lot recently thanks to a move to university in a new city, I've loved every second of creating content for my corner of the internet. I really do want to put so much more effort into getting posts up and running consistently again, as I truly have missed the feeling of having blog posts in the back of my head constantly, and then being able to craft them into something I love and that I am proud of.

Blogging is such a rewarding past-time which I want to grow more, as I just adore it so much. Thank you all again for reading and interacting with me - I mean it will all of my heart!
