The Revisited... Stila In The Light Palette

When writing my Top 5 2014 Discoveries, I realised that I hadn't actually written a full review of the Stila In The Light Palette, despite having taken photos as soon as I opened it. Seeing as it has been a bit of a rediscovery for me over the past month or so, I thought it was time I jotted down my thoughts.

Complete with ten eyeshadows and a creamy dark drown eyeliner, this palette is a good'un. The shimmery offerings are pretty full on (particularly Kitten and Bubbly) so may not be for everyone, but they are for me. What's more, the matte shades are still pretty damn buttery soft, and all colours compliment and blend with each other effortlessly. I wear each and every shade often, except perhaps Night Sky, the blue grey shimmer which I'm not the biggest fan of on my eyes - such a gorgeous colour though!

Kitten, Bubbly, Gilded Gold, Damsel

For £25 I think this palette is uh-mazing. It satisfies the neutral lover in me while giving that little bit more, and I can't fault the quality of the powders, or the packaging for that matter. Plus, the Smudge Stick in Damsel is pretty great too! Overall, it's a winner for me.
