We don't need a long introduction here, it's time to look back at the best of the skincare bunch that I discovered in 2015! I really "got" skincare this past year, and I'm so pleased with the bunch I'm showing you.
Pixi Glow Tonic >> This exfoliating toner is a cult classic and for good reason. After cleansing I sweep a cotton pad soaked in this stuff over my face, and I instantly feel refreshed. Not irritating at all, this tonic brightens the skin and I find that (most) blemishes stay away too.
Superfacialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C+ Cleansing Oil >> This cleansing oil breaks down all makeup and dirt on the face, and leaves my skin feeling super clean but still hydrated. The citrus scent is divine and I can use it to get off the last of my mascara without irritating my sensitive eyes.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Serum-in-Oil >> Not only is this a serum, it's a silky oil that hydrates and sinks into the skin too - definitely only a nighttime serum unless you love rocking that greasy look. This is one of those products that if I don't use it, I feel the loss the next day. Over the summer I did switch to something lighter as this is pretty heavy, but for the rest of the year my skin just drank this up.
Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm >> This lip balm is just gorgeous. I opt for something lighter during the day but at night I slather this on, making sure to rub the exfoliating bits to leave my lips smooth the next day. There's not much to say on this one, it's just a really great lip balm that is well worth the price, and I shall be repurchasing soon as I'm nearly out!
Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Mask >> This was only purchased at the start of December but it weaseled its way onto this list because it is so darn lovely. It is incredibly light and soft for a clay mask, and I find it gets rid of any impurities in the skin. If I feel one of those under the skin spot coming on, I apply this and the next morning it's gone. It's a miracle worker!
So, there we go! My top five skincare bits. I wrote a post on my Top 5 Beauty Discoveries of 2015 as I couldn't condense these two categories down, so feel free to have a read of that one too!
