Elizabeth & James Nirvana Black >> I have to start with my favourite! I'd been lusting after Nirvana Black for years before getting the chance to pick it up when I was in Boston last year. Because I can't buy it again unless I'm in America I do use this one sparingly - I typically save it for special occasions like date nights or parties. Vanilla and sandalwood are two of my favourites scents so it's no wonder I love this one. It's also really strong and I can actually still smell it on my skin at the end of the day, and I find it hangs around on my clothes for days too! It's just so warming and delicious, and I don't ever want to be without it, and I'm tempted to pick up the Nirvana White in the future too.
Notes: violet, sandalwood, vanilla
YSL Black Opium Floral Shock >> I'm not normally a floral scent person (apart from the pick below!) but when I first smelled Floral Shock I knew it was the kind of floral I could get behind. I only own this one in a dinky travel size so it basically just lives in my handbag, but I do expect that when I run out I'm going to buy a full size of this one. I think I must love it so much because of the coffee notes - my boyfriend drinks coffee all the time so I have a soft spot for the scent.
Notes: black coffee, pear, orange blossom, sandalwood, vanilla, gardenia
Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 >> Estee Lalonde calls this the sexiest perfume and I've got to agree. I adore the smell of Molecule 01, and thanks to the science behind it so should everyone else. It contains the kind of pheromone that makes you smell attractive to other people. This is one of those nice in-between price fragrances as for the 30ml bottle, which I'm currently on my second bottle of, you only need to pay around £30. It's the kind of fragrance which you can't always smell on yourself, but when you do get a wiff of it when you move it's just so heavenly!
Notes: Iso E Super molecule (cedarwood)
Stella McCartney Stella >> I enjoy both the Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette versions of this fragrance. I actually can't really pick a favourite as they are both pretty similar, but the EDT is definitely a bit fresher so more of a spring/summer pick if you choose your fragrances based on seasons! As I mentioned before I don't always love floral fragrances, particularly rose, so it's actually quite surprising that I love these two so much! In my eyes it's probably the citrus and amber notes that make them into my kind of scent. These are my typical 'I don't know what I want to wear today so I'll go for this' fragrances, and to me they're interchangeable so when I run out I'll probably only pick one to repurchase. I won't lie, the EDT bottle is my favourite so I'm more inclined to lean that way - I can't resist polka dots and blush pink.
Notes: (eau de parfum) rose, mandarin, peony, amber
Notes: (eau de toilette) mandarin, lemon, freesia, rose, violet, peony, amber
Zoella Beauty Sweet Inspirations >> This is actually my newest fragrance buy, and is technically a body mist and not a perfume or EDT. However, don't let that title fool you: this guy packs a punch. It smells of vanilla which as I've mentioned is probably my favourite smell ever, and I love how wearing it makes me feel all cosy. It's also really lovely mixed with Molecule 01! I bought this because all my current bottles are beginning to run low and I wanted a cheap and cheerful fragrance to mull me over until I bite the bullet and buy a full size of Floral Shock, but I'm so pleased I did because I actually love wearing it! It lasts so long on the skin and makes me smell like a cake.
Notes: honey, almond, cacao pod, vanilla
